Phil AcMoody
President/ Founder

Phil AcMoody is from Coldwater, Michigan. He has been in financial planning for 5 1/2 years working with The Centennial Group in Lansing, MI. Previous to that he owned and operated Butternut Ridge Farms for 26 years. Phil possesses a B.S. degree from Michigan State University in animal science obtained in 1972. While at The Centennial Group Phil's main accomplishment was being a production leader in the area of employee benefits. In 2002 Phil was chosen as the associate of the year, an honor which is bestowed on one individual each year and selected by peers. Since then Phil has continued his success and has gone on to create Sterling Benefits Group, LLC. His hopes are to help clients and prospects realize the value of working with this firm and enhance their probability of both financial and personal success.

Navea Simba,
Vice President/Co-Founder

Navea Simba is originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan and has lived in the Lansing area for over ten years. She’s attended Western Michigan University and received a degree from Davenport University. She has worked in the group benefits field for over 9 years on the both the agency and carrier level. She obtained her Life & Health license in 2006. She spent five years with a managing agency for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and four years at a financial/insurance agency in the local Lansing, MI area. Because of her experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge with regard to financial planning, employee benefits, case preparation, and customer service. Navea looks forward to sharing her experience with other individuals and businesses that might benefit from Sterling Benefits Group services.
